SUPPORT SERVICES


The Oasis Support Centre Ringwood is a service of the Ringwood RS

L Sub Branch and provides Welfare and Pension support services to serving and former members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF), their families & the wider community.  The office is open Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays from 9am- 5pm.

Our Wellbeing Services Coordinator is professionally qualified to assist our current Serving Service Members, Veterans & Community members.

Assistance is provided via appropriate referral to support agencies including:

  • Home & Community Care
  • Transportation
  • Healthy Eating & Access to Meals
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Wellbeing Services
  • Bereavement, Funerals/ Eulogy’s
  • Counselling
  • Legal Aid
  • Social Inclusion Programs

The Wellbeing Support Office also provides support through phone calls & visits to Aged Care Facilities, Homes & Hospitals.

ACTIVITIES & PROGRAMS


Strength & Mobility Exercise Class

Tuesday’s at 10am-11am in the Function Room
A weekly exercise program lead by a Qualified Exercise Physiologist, Strength & Conditioning Coach aimed to enhance general strength & mobility.

Friendly Friday Social Group

Friday’s at 10am- 12pm in the Function Room
The group meets every 1st, 3rd & 4th week. The group undertakes a number of activities each week to enhance social inclusion & community engagement.

Women’s Auxiliary Group

The group meets monthly and conducts regular events & activities for members. There are numerous activities including Bingo, Bus trips, Raffles & additional events.

War Widows Group

The group meets monthly, further details are available upon request.

Additional Activities

Additional clubs such as golf, angling and pool clubs are also available for members who may have interests in these areas. Further details are available upon request. New members are always welcome to our Activities & Programs.

PENSION SUPPORT SERVICES


The Ringwood RSL Pension Support Office is open Wednesdays from 10.00am - 3.30pm.

The Pension Support Advocates are professionally qualified through the Advocate Training Development Program and are experienced in providing support to assist in the completion of claims & enquiries relating to the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Assistance can be provided for the following enquiries & claims:

  • VEA
  • MRCA
  • SRCA
  • DRCA
  • Veteran Health Cards
  • War Widows
  • General Pension

The Pension Support Office also provides support through phone calls.

VOLUNTEERS


We have numerous volunteers who undertake Home, Hospital & Aged Care Facility Support Visits, if you would like to join the Volunteer team at the Ringwood RSL please enquire by calling the Wellbeing Support Office.
